Tammy Zaccolo is a young cancer survivor who is on the road to recovery. Raising awareness and funds for cancer research has been a priority of Tammy's ever since her diagnosis with Hodgkin's Disease (lymphoma) in November 1999, at age 25.
Tammy is determined and dedicated to give back to the many people fighting and coping with cancer. She has been on the road to recovery thanks to the caring and dedicated staff at The Toronto Sunnybrook Regional Cancer Centre. Her oncologist, Dr. Neil Berinstein, is the director of The Advanced Therapeutics Program, and his mandate is to provide state of the art innovative treatment for patients suffering from lymphoma and other forms of cancer.


Road2Recovery is an annual event that supports the Sunnybrook Regional Cancer Centre.

This event takes place every October and offers dinner, dancing, a silent auction, raffle prizes, and entertainment.  The main focus of this event is to celebrate life, remember the people we have lost to cancer, and especially to raise funds for this much needed cause.
